Hi!
My name is Suzanne VanDerPuy and I am the West MI chapter leader for Rank MI Vote. We are a non-profit, non-partisan grassroots organization of volunteers working to educate people about Ranked Choice Voting and with enough support, trying to get it on the 2022 ballot for the state of Michigan!

I love Ranked Choice Voting because it eliminates the plurality winning system and requires an actual majority to win. This is especially helpful in primaries where there are more than 2 candidates and rarely does anyone get the true majority. With Ranked Choice Voting you know the candidate being chosen to represent your party truly is the preferred candidate. It also eliminates spoiler candidates from third parties when people have the opportunity to vote for more than one candidate which, as a democrat, I feel like is an issue that we face in every election.
