Are you a conservative who wants to run for your local school board this year? Attend our first biannual "School Board Candidate Boot Camp" and learn how to manage a successful campaign. The following topics will be covered by political campaign experts, in separate sessions: 

• How to file for office
• Michigan's Campaign Finance Act
• Campaign budgeting and fundraising
• Campaign plan and strategy
• Effective social media
• Media training and public speaking
• Key issues and effective messaging
• Organizing the grassroots and field campaigns
• Candidate panel with several past successful school board candidates

The event is on Saturday, May 7th. It will begin at 8am and end sharply at 3pm. Coffee and bagels will be provided in the morning. A boxed lunch will be provided during an hour break in the afternoon. Tickets are $50/piece, though a limited number of scholarships are available. To purchase a ticket, please do so on this webpage.
