“All that I am, or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.”
-Abraham Lincoln
In a day and age where parents’ rights and even the definition of motherhood is called into question, we want to take a moment to honor women and motherhood. Throughout history, mothers have been revered as the heart and warmth of one of the most important building blocks of society, the family. Without strong families, a nation soon crumbles.
Motherhood, like anything else of value, often comes with challenges. Sometimes motherhood comes unexpectedly, other times it is desired and prayed over for many years. Some mothers are faced with single parenthood.
With that in mind, and in honor of mothers this week, we would like to share a few helpful resources in Kent County.
Local groups for mothers:

Fit4Mom is a local fitness group for mothers that combines both the importance of exercise and the benefits of community and fellowship with other moms.
